Where Disneyland Resort is headed, before it gets there.
The ImagineMover Blueprint follows how Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure and Downtown Disney are changing, and where they are likely headed next.
What we do
Sometimes the walls go up first. Sometimes the announcement does, years before the first shovel. Either way, the story unfolds on the ground: a new building taking shape behind the berm, backstage infrastructure being rearranged, the ongoing construction activity across the resort. We piece those details together to show where each land is headed and what that could mean for your next visit. Written by longtime Disneyland Resort regulars.
The Blueprint is part of The ImagineMover, a channel about the Disneyland Resort as a living, evolving place: where it came from, what is changing now, and what comes next. Watch on YouTube · Follow on Instagram
How we report
- We start from the public record. That means City of Anaheim records, official Disney announcements and reporting from established news outlets. Every post ends with a Sources list, with links and dates, so you can check our work.
- We keep facts and analysis apart. When a post says something "points to" or "is expected to" happen, that is our reading of the evidence, not a confirmation. Plans change, and Disney announces on its own schedule.
- Our photos are our own unless a credit says otherwise.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, tell us at magic (at) imaginemover (dot) com. We fix errors promptly and add a dated note at the end of the post saying what changed.
