Bountiful Valley Brews Nears the Finish Line at Disney California Adventure
City records show the new Bountiful Valley Brews kiosk, between Carthay Circle Restaurant and the entrance to Avengers Campus, passed its final building inspection on 2026-10-28, the same day its signs were approved.
What we know
City records show that case BLD2025-06429 covers a new accessory building for a beverage kiosk at Disney California Adventure (DCA): a 370-square-foot covered servicing counter with a 140-square-foot walk-in cooler, with electrical and plumbing. It was finaled on 2026-10-28. City records also show the plumbing, finaled on 2026-10-19, and the electrical finaled on 2026-10-22.
City records show that SGN2026-00140, issued on 2026-10-28, covers four non-illuminated signs for Bountiful Valley Brews: a marquee, a hanging menu, a blade sign, and a directional sign.
The backstory
DCA opened on February 8, 2001. One of its opening-day attractions was Bountiful Valley Farm, which celebrated California agriculture.
The farm did not last long. Most of it became part of A Bug's Land in 2002, and the remaining portions later gave way for Cars Land. A Bug’s Land itself closed in 2018, and Avengers Campus opened on its site on June 4, 2021.
The old farm still shows up in Avengers Campus. The oversized ketchup and mustard bottles at Pym Test Kitchen carry the Bountiful Valley Farm logo, an easter egg D23 has pointed out.
What it likely means
The building case and its plumbing and electrical cases are finaled, so the kiosk structure has likely passed its last city inspection. The sign permit was issued the same day, so the remaining work is likely the signs going up and getting approvals. That timing fits the November opening and the arrival of the Festival of Holidays at DCA starting November 13, 2026.
The name “Bountiful Valley Brews” is a nostalgic, referential nod to the original Bountiful Valley Farm.
This kiosk is not inside Avengers Campus, yet the city's descriptions file every one of the building cases under an Avengers Campus heading. The most likely reason is plumbing and electrical that tie into the land's utilities next door.
What's been announced
Disney is building the kiosk within the alcove between Carthay Circle Restaurant and the Avengers Campus entrance, and it will serve craft beer, micheladas and food along DCA's high-traffic Performance Corridor.
The opening menu consists of cocktails, craft beer and micheladas, a non-alcoholic refresher, and one food item, a pepperoni pizza egg roll. The exact opening date has not been announced by Disney, but we are speculating that it will coincide closely with the start of Festival of Holidays at DCA starting November 13, 2026.
The construction has been visible for months. In August 2026, construction walls had gone up across from the Grizzly Peak waterfall, between Avengers Campus and Carthay Circle, and by October 2026, the kiosk had gained siding and a covered patio roof.
What to watch for next
The first permit to watch is SGN2026-00140. A finaled date there would mean the four signs are up and inspected.
The second is BLD2026-00612. A finaled date there would close out the city-inspected work at this location.
Disney will eventually announce an exact opening date, which would settle the timing that has so far been reported only as November. A soft opening ahead of any date is also possible.
